Txutxó Chess — Privacy Policy

Txutxó Chess is a chess app for children and families, published by Letras Binárias Unipessoal Lda.

The app does not require registration, collect players’ personal data, or include advertising, in-app purchases or usage analytics.

Player data

The game does not request names, email addresses, location, photos or other personal information. It does not send games or preferences to our servers or share them with third parties. The installed app works offline.

What stays on the device

The sound preference is stored locally. The current game is held in memory without server synchronisation. You can remove preferences by clearing the app’s data or, in the browser, clearing the site’s data.

Copying a game

The “Copy game” button copies the moves in PGN format to the clipboard only when the user chooses to do so. The game does not automatically transmit this content. If you share it through another app, that service’s policy applies.

Children

Children can use the app without an account or personal information. The app has no behavioural advertising or in-app purchases.

Website and browser version

This policy describes the Txutxó Chess app. Visiting the Letras Binárias website or loading the browser version requires server connections to deliver the pages and game files. The website uses its own cookie, statistics and monitoring services, presented through its cookie management interface. The statement about the app having no usage analytics does not cover those website services.
