Privacy policy
Warpline · Last updated: 3 October 2026
Warpline is a time warp scan camera app for iPhone provided by Letras Binárias Unipessoal Lda., Portugal. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
1. Camera and microphone
Warpline uses the camera to create scans. The image is processed on your device in real time and is not sent to us or to anyone else. The microphone is only used if you turn sound on, to record audio into your scan video; it is processed the same way.
2. Photos
When you tap Save, Warpline adds the photo or video to your photo library. It asks for add-only access, so it cannot see, read or change the photos and videos you already have.
3. Data stored by the app
The app stores your settings on the device, such as scan direction, speed, timer, effect, line color and whether sound is on. The latest scan video is kept in the app’s temporary storage until you take another scan or retake. None of this is sent to us.
The app does not ask for your name, email, location or contacts. There are no user accounts.
4. Sharing
When you tap Share, the standard iOS share sheet opens and you choose where your scan goes. From that point, the privacy policy of the app or service you share to applies.
5. Removing data
Delete the app to remove its settings and temporary files. Photos and videos you saved to your library stay there until you delete them in the Photos app. Device backups, when enabled, may include app settings according to your Apple settings.
6. Apple, the App Store and TestFlight
Apple manages app distribution and, where applicable, TestFlight testing. Apple may process download information, diagnostics and feedback according to your settings and its terms. We may receive the crash reports or feedback that Apple makes available to developers, to fix issues and improve the app. See Apple’s privacy policy.
7. When you contact us
If you send a support or privacy request, we process your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send, to respond and follow up. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing support; for requests about your rights, compliance with applicable legal obligations. We keep this correspondence for as long as needed to handle the request, or as required by law.
8. Website
This policy covers the app and related support. When you visit this website, the server receives technical information needed to deliver pages, and the Letras Binárias website uses its own cookie and measurement tools. You can review your choices in the site’s cookie manager.
9. Children
Warpline does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.
10. Your rights
For personal data you send us, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability, where applicable, by emailing [email protected]. We cannot access scans that only exist on your device. You can lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados or your local supervisory authority.
11. Changes to this policy
If Warpline’s data practices change, for example if we add anonymous usage statistics, we will update this page and the date above before the change ships.
